Some days, just when you think you've got it figured all out, the bus departs and rain erupts out of the clear sky, your computer harddrive combusts while you are backing it up, a bird plops a big juicy goblet of white upon you as clear as snow, the coffee machine breaks just when you feel like you'd be better off injecting caffeine straight into a membrane, your mom calls to talk for 2.5 hours about how far your life is going (answer: nowhere), your message in a bottle sinks to the bottom of the sea, you are shit out of a home and winter is coming, etc, etc, etc.

You get the point. We are generally feverishly optimistic happy-joy-happy people, but sometimes, just sometimes, it feels like it has been a long 24 hours, which is part of a long day, which is a summary of a long year, which equates to a long existence.
Yup. This feeling usally bubbles up around Tuesday.
Thus, as the pot at the end of a really really dark rainbow, today we decided to provide you with one mighty, uplifting, psychedelic punch of glory.
......A new video by the Aussie electro sound-stars Mighnight Juggernauts.
It's shot grimy and whismically kaleidoscopic. (That's the second time TODAY we've used that word on this site - if that's an indication of our current demeanor. *wink)
For lack of better words and sincerity's sake, the video is a beautiful, utter mind f*ck. Swirling colors of a daydream merge with a mirage of snowflakes and prism-reflections. You'll find yourself rubbing your eyes and trying to pinch yourself if your dreaming but the end of it.
Oh yeah, and the music - a glitzy, dramatic, Queen meets Bowie-in-the-time-of-Labrinyth-like retro riff complete with a ghoulish organ - is jolly good too.
Happy Tuesday.
With Love.

“I don't know why I'm just getting around to reading this. In any case, I was going to say that whatever's comment there is a little harsh. But then I actually read through the story, and... Yeah, putting it as nicely as possible, a copy editor would be a good idea. Some of it just flat-out doesn't make sense. And it's a little annoying to think that the people running the site just assume it's okay to leave in mistakes and whatnot because they think people in our age range are all too dumb or illiterate to notice when it doesn't make sense. I'd like to expect more from JustinTimberlake.com. :-) Just sayin'.”
“You'd figure with all of Justin's money he could afford to hire some people capable of properly using a thesaurus, the english language, WORDS. This chick's willful gift for malapropism is quite entertaining. But I guess that's what you get with this demographic in mind. In any case, if this is supposed to be a real magazine, in any shape or form, you should hire a copy editor to teach her a thing or two.”
