Um - yes that's MIA singing along in the video. But the main force behind the video is the eclectic hip hop electro crew Buraka Som Sistema, a melting pot of Portuguese and Angolan influences.
That furious, infectious beat? It's called Kuduro, a type of music originally born in Angola in the 90s, and was exported to Portugal. Let's just say it translates to "hard ass" or "stiff bottom" in Portuguese FOR A REASON.
In other words, it's guaranteed to get you through Thursday and get a crazed dance party started Friday.
