A wonderful story out of Tampa, Florida: a 13-year-old girl named Chelsea Baker is taking the baseball world by storm with her knuckleball. Consistently the best pitcher on all-boys teams, she hasn't lost a game in four years, and in the last two seasons, has thrown not one, but two perfect games -- one in an all-star game. She is widely considered the best little league baseball player in the country.
She learned the knuckleball from Joe Niekro, who featured the pitch for 22 seasons in the Major Leagues. Not a bad teacher, though the student is now making some serious waves on her own.
Remarkable. Give em hell Chelsea!

“ Had baseball remained an olympic sport, she would have won us the gold medal. No wonder the South Koreans were afraid of her, but also makes them her opponents in tears! ”
