We reported not long ago about Sony's Rocket Project, a pretty phenomenal DIY project spearheaded by Sony & EIGHT VERY LUCKY KIDS. The goal? For the kids to build a 29-foot rocket that they hoped to launch into space (using SONY VAIO computer technology). Well, on DAY 151 of the much anticipated project, as scheduled, the rocket successfully lifted off before their eyes into the earth's lower atmosphere.
