The MLB Network has a great interview with President Obama, below:
Call us starry-eyed, but something about the image of our President night-capping with a cold beer and some SportsCenter struck us as utterly dignified. And rocking a White Sox jacket (the President’s favorite team) to the All-Star Game tells us he’s loyal and proud of his allegiances. We are oddly comforted by this.
The most noteworthy exchange, however, was MLB All-Star Michael Young’s question for the President: “How can I help?” What an impressive thing to ask. You could tell it pleased the President, too. Obama goes on to plug the site www.serve.gov. We encourage you to check it out as well.
