The first words on the "Let's Color Project" webpage read like this:
"Grey is out. Gloom is gone. It’s time to live our lives in colour."
In a collaborative initiative by Dulux, Dulux Valentine, Coral and Marshall (experts in paint and color), their mission is to transform the drab and dull into effervescent rainbow-kissed environments. Color effects human emotions in a positive way...and what more lovely than a world full of color?
Four locations have made the cut: The famous Lapa stairs of Rio de Janiero, a council estate in Aulnay-sous-bois, Paris France (an area plagued by riots in 2005), Virginia Primary School in Tower Hamlets, London and Jodhour, Rajasthan, India.
Have a look at the inspiring stop-motion video of the project, directed by Adam Berg:

“ Having lived in Florida, I really like their use of pastels that we hardly see anywhere else. I think that's what makes Floridians happy people! ”
