For the Love of Music and Charity: U2 VIP Tickets

Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals For Children Open came to a climactic, exciting close this Sunday but the opportunity to contribute to the good cause JT Shriners Open has not diminished.

As a grand finale, Charity Buzz is auctioning away an exclusive VIP package to the band U2's “360º” Tour in Las Vegas, with the donations going to JT Shriners Open.  Since the auction closes Thursday OCT 22, 2 PM ET, we thought we'd emphasize the following:

Top 10 Reasons to buy these tickets, Jay Leno-style:

1) It's been 4 years since U2 has been stateside and even a proud man will admit that they have been sorely missed.

2) You will get to attend the concert in Very Important Person style, with access to the VIP lounge, special parking, a gift package, and extensive buffet. Like the Very Important Person you are.

3) This VIP package is already SOLD OUT.

4) Healthcare is kind of a big topic right now and the proceeds of your night-of-U2-fun will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children, which provides free healthcare for children under 18.

5) You will be entered into a drawing to win a pre-show backstage tour. Imagine sharing a couch with Bono.

6) U2 has won 22 Granny awards – more than any other band. Even if you've seen them once or 13 times live, you've been missing out.

7) Um, it's a tax write-off. (Just saying. Your inner accountant will be thankful.)

8) Think: Bono.

9) Think: The Edge riffing hard right in front of you.

10) If 1-9 doesn't convince you, the fact that the concert is in Las Vegas - the land where wild dreams are fulfilled - should. Nuf said.

ENTER AUCTION HERE.

PS A Baby Grand Piano signed by Justin is also up for sale. It's a brilliant glossy Steinway & Sons piano, with Justin's signature on the top right corner above the keys. It's bound to be good luck and proceeds also go to an excellent cause - Ten O'Clock Classics - which provides music lessons to children in Harlem. It means the world to us for you to contribute and support these good causes. Only a day left folks for both. Get on it. Enter HERE.

“I can't go to Vegas Thursday ... Even if i LOVE U2 , France/Vegas is a bit too far away for a show (and what a show!) I saw U2 this summer in Paris (Stade de France) , and it was AMAZING, the best show i ever seen (aww sorry JT ^^ ) And i have my tickets for the 18th September of ... 2010 !! ...in Paris again, ant it's already sold out...crazy. SO guys, if you can be in Vegas Thursday for the show, and for the charity, you will definitely not regret ! ”

Still On My Brain

“My question to you is that why do you mess with white girls when you yourself aren't completely white?”

“Your voice sounds so sexy in this absolutely fresh song!”

Never Again

“I really like you doing pure pop music like this song, but the problem with it is that it encourages the white culture and wants it to be exclusive to you and Britney, etc. etc. You stayed away from that sin in your second solo album and it is easier for someone like me to look at you as an artist and a friend now. I am just saying that I want pop culture to be inclusive and you have done a lot towards that end.”

Exclusive Interview: Sean Lennon and Charlotte Muhl on their new band GOASTT

“That's cool. I was watching your three movies, "Alpha Dog," "Southerland Tales," "Black Snake Moan" nonstop last night and tonight and I can't learn enough from your sensitivity to the lower class. I have a lot to learn from you as someone that uses his gifts for the betterment of the society. I am so inspired by the roles that you pick and even wish to follow in your tracks someday on the big screen.”
