BONNAROO MUSIC FESTIVAL: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES, GOOD EXCUSE TO VISIT JT'S HOMETOWN

Summer is here, it’s bound to be a hundred or so degrees in Tennessee, the dust’s a blowin’ – and a 700-acre farm in Manchester Tennessee is being prepped with stages to host a groovy assortment of rock, alt-country, hip hop, and jam band musicians (and more). In other words, it’s Bonnaroo time.

This year, Bruce Springsteen and the E-street band, Phish, Beastie Boys, NIN, David Byrne, Ben Harper, MGMT , Snoop Dogg and Erykah Badu will head to Justin’s home state to perform in this four-day outdoor music festival in Manchester, Tennessee, from June 11-14.

The thing is you’ve got to really commit to Bonnaroo if you go since there are no single tickets available and it costs $224–$249 for a four-day pass including camping and parking (except for RVs or other oversize vehicles). But that said, it's one of the best summer music festivals in which to escape for one weekend, experience Tennessee's Southern charm, and enjoy a spectrum of musical tastes in the sun.

So if you don't mind camping and getting a little sweaty and gritty (to put it in perspective, the organizers recommend each attendee carry at least one toilet paper roll with them during the day), you'll find that the Bonnaroo experience in TN - with its dancin', chillin', local grub, laid-back attitude, and diverse music mix - is well worth a couple days of sunburn and less than adequate personal hygiene.
(Plus, it's a great excuse to take a road trip and see Nashville, Memphis (Justin's home!) and maybe a couple other Southern cities if you've got time?)

“ Keep a look out for "Lady Circus". They'll be roving performers throughout the festival, as well as performing each night on the Sonic Stage. They're fire performers/hoopers and I can only assume you appreciate the art considering it was in your video. ”
