WATCH: The Film PressPausePlay Analyzing Art And The Digital Revolution

As we know from The Social Network, Facebook has revolutionized the world by changing how we communicate with the world and our friends. Google enables us to look up anything anywhere at anytime. Meanwhile, anyone with a dream and a wallet can create an album or website or film. What does that mean for art itself?

That's exactly what the film PressPausePlay is devoted to discussing. Within the film, a handful of artists, musicians, and creatives have been interviewed about the process of creating art in today's digital world. It discusses the effect of democratizing media and art - how now anyone (you, me, I) can become an artist or musician now due to technology....what that means for art, communication and dessemination?

For you creatives out there, decide for yourself after seeing it. Does this inspire you or dissuade you? You can (ironically) download the full feature on their website.
