Ninjasonik Know How To Party
Remember when YouTube first blew up? And it was largely due to ridiculously entertaining home videos of either cute little animals or totally wasted people (hopefully not at the same time)? Well, if you're fond of the latter, it's highly likely that you'll think the clip we're about to show you is one of the greatest music video ever made.
"Bars" is a sordid little peak into the unabashedly debauched world of Ninjasonik (Remember they gave a hilarious description of their music and fashion sense in this video at the Fader Fort this spring.) You wanna see beer-spitting, graffitti, dive bars, dirty toilets, bad language, drug-references, tattoos, impromptu-Subway-train-dance-parties, a live show, camera-licking and people who are too wasted to stand up? All in the space of three and a half minutes? Well, friends, you've come to the right place...
Take it away you filthy scamps:
Let it be known that we are extremely jealous of the personlized PBR and Jack Daniels labels shown at the start of that video... But this Brooklyn trio are rapidly becoming one of our favorite new artists, and we imagine their live shows are eventful endeavors to say the least. Sadly, no full tour is on the cards right now, but you can catch them - alongside the always stunning M.I.A. - at July's Hard Festival in NYC and LA.
Their latest album, Art School Girls, came out earlier this year through Green Owl Records. And it is party music to end all other party music. Enjoy...
