Fashion Friday: Oasis’ Liam Gallagher Opens New Store in London
We've devoted many a Fashion Friday post to the myraid ways music and fashion have influenced each other, from Kings Of Leon's new clothing brand to the fashion craze that Lady Gaga spawned in Tokyo to Justin's own William Rast. Well, today boasted another example of music merging with fashion as Liam Gallagher of Oasis-fame launched the first store for his high end clothing line, affectionately called Pretty Green, at 57 Carnaby Street in London. Rather than mimic the modern hipster rocker aesthetic, his first collection appears to be quite dapper and proper - i.e. Think The Beatles rather than The Rolling Stones. An inspiration? "Brit-mod culture." So if you are in London any time soon, feel free to browse the selection at 57 Carnaby street and let us know what you think?
