Exclusive Photos: William Rast FW 2010 Backstage
Below is a behind-the-scenes glipse as Justin's Fashion label William Rast debuted their Fall/Winter 2010 collection, Wed Feb 17th, 2010. Check it:
This season's inspirations? Midwest meets biker meets nomad meets Native American.
Which meant tousled hair and very natural, dewy make-up.

Maybelline was the official cosmetic sponsor of New York Fashion Week. Their make-up was EVERYWHERE.

Each model work layers and layers of mascara this year - to enhance the rock chic look. Though the application was time-consuming, the overall effect was worth it.

The hair style at William Rast this year? Breezy, messy, as though "the models just got back from the beach," said one of the hairstylists.
The benefit? No shampoo necessary.

There is no such thing as a bad-hair day during Fashion Week.

Back in the wardrobe department, each season's look was carefully chronicled and archived via polaroids.

The Fall/Winter William Rast racks. Jean Jackets. Leather vests. Kinda "baudy biker." U like?

A popular accessory? Free-falling fur... and hippie headbands encircling the head.

A model (right) reviewing his "looks" for the show. Each model can wear several looks during the show, so they've got to be prepped to do those nifty 50 second wardrobe changes between walks.

Lest we forget, Justin and Trace Ayala (his long time friend and creative partner in William Rast) were backstage too. They were looking pretty calm considering the scale of the event too!

Plus, in between practice sessions, we caught up with Tennman Records' Free Sol, who was styling his own William Rast gear: t-shirt and this season's biker jacket. Bad-a**.

We've got more pictures where these came from - i.e. of the main trends of the season at WR and also the after party.
