A Truly Unbelievable Soccer Play
And they say two wrongs don't make a right...
Now, we here at JT.com happen to dabble in a little Korean, which is the language that the announcer spoke in the original clip -- believe it or not, the television broadcast did not play the muzak you hear in this clip. But we digress...
Roughly translated, as he follows the action, starting from when the ball goes through the goalie's legs, he says:
"It's gone through the goalie's legs! The door is open, so the door is open, from here he shoots with his left and it hits off the post! One more chance, left foot, shoooooots!"
Then a rather pregnant pause, as he, and everyone else, collects their thoughts... Then, a line for all time:
"An unbelievable thing has happened."
He goes on to explain how they were in a decisive overtime, that there was no one manning the goal, and he used his left foot to push it through, and then it cuts off. But you can pretty much fill in the rest...
If not, I think this look says it all:
Thousand words indeed. Oof.
